AZAINDAZOLE DERIVATIVES USEFUL AS NOD-LIKE RECEPTOR 3 PROTEIN INHIBITORS

Abstract

The compounds of Formula (I), and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, are NLRP3 inhibitors and may be useful in the treatment, prevention, management, improvement, control, and suppression of NLRP3-mediated diseases such as obesity, gout, fibrosis, among others. A compound of Formula (I) and its pharmaceutically acceptable salts, wherein X is N and CR5; R1 is C1-6 alkyl, CO-3-alkyl (C3-8 monocyclic cycloalkyl), CO-3-alkyl (C4-8 bicyclic cycloalkyl), among others; R2 is phenyl, unsubstituted or substituted with 1, 2, 3, or 4 substituents selected independently from: OH, halo, among others; R3 is H, halo, and C1-6 alkyl; R4 is H and C1-6 alkyl, wherein said R4 C1-6 alkyl is unsubstituted or substituted by 1 to 5 substituents selected independently from: 1) OH and 2) halo; R5 is H, OH, CN, among others.
