Method for recovering valuable metals from nickel laterite gravel

Abstract

The present disclosure provides a method for recovering valuable metals from nickel laterite gravel, and relates to the technical field of resource recovering of nickel laterites. The recovering method includes: S1, stacking nickel laterite gravel in a leaching pond to form a gravel layer; S2, adding a leaching agent to the leaching pond, causing a liquid level of the leaching agent to over the gravel layer, performing initial leaching, and then discharging an initial leaching solution; and S3, returning the initial leaching solution to the leaching pond, performing N cycles of leaching, and then collecting the leaching solutions; where N≥1, and before each cycle of leaching, a supplementary leaching agent is added to the leaching solution generated in the previous cycle of leaching, which is then returned to the leaching pond to complete the cycle of leaching. Therefore, valuable metals in the gravel may be recovered to a maximum extent, thereby improving resource utilization of the nickel laterite gravel.
