Abstract

This invention discloses the process of producing a high-strength composite board from nipa palm husk fiber and high-density polyethylene recyclable materials. This innovation successfully produced high-strength composite boards with 9:1 and 7:3 ratios from high-density polyethylene waste materials and nipa palm husk fiber with a thick of 2mm. It started from nipa palm husk fiber processing, preparing high density polyethylene from recyclable materials, formulating the NPHF-HDPE ratio mixture, determining the density, specific gravity, water absorption and thickness swelling, and measuring tensile strength and flexural strength. The physical and mechanical properties in terms of tensile and flexural strength were analyzed. The high strength composite board from nipa palm husk fiber and high density polyethylene recyclable materials present a sustainable, economically viable alternative for construction materials, with competitive mechanical properties. Composites could significantly impact the construction industry by providing a cost effective and eco-friendly option.
