System and method of decentralised blockchain for securing product authenticity and blocking counterfeiting

Abstract

The invention relates to a blockchain technology, and more specifically, to a computer system that decentralized blockchain for securing the product authenticity and blocking counterfeiting comprising of a user interface layer; a data input layers; a blockchain network; a validation engine for verifying the authenticity of products based on the comparison of scanned product identifiers against stored cryptographic hashes on the blockchain network; wherein the system ensures traceability, transparency, and accountability across the entire supply chain by preventing counterfeit products. The method for verifying product authenticity using blockchain technology comprising of: receiving a product identifier (e.g., QR code, NFC tag, RFID) from a consumer or stakeholder; querying a decentralized blockchain network that stores the product's details, including ownership history and transaction records; comparing the queried product's information with the provided seller's address to check for consistency; and returning an authenticity result based on the comparison of the product's ownership data recorded in the blockchain and the seller's address; wherein the method enables consumers to verify product authenticity and prevent counterfeiting in real-time.
