Abstract

The present invention relates to an electric fan having a mosquito-exterminating means that has been proven to effectively kill mosquitoes when they are smashed against the fan blades when they come or fly close and sucked in by air current after being attracted by the carbon dioxide-generating light. The electric fan having a mosquito-attracting light generally comprises an electric fan having a rotatable fan blade being housed in a protective fan blade guard, an electric motor being housed in a protective fan blade guard, an electric motor being connected to the rotatable fan blade through a shaft, and a characterizing mosquito-attracting fluorescent tube being attached at the rear portion of the protective fan blade guard. The invention further includes a mosquito net and sticking means.
