Abstract
A method for producing a ready-to-eat food product is disclosed, providing an alternative to conventional preserved foods for distribution during natural disasters and calamities and for consumers with limited meal preparation time. The method involves preparing a coconut milk-based liquid base, cooking starchy root crops, glutinous rice, and fruits within the liquid base, and packaging and thermally processing the resulting mixture using water retort.
