Abstract
A process of making Carrot (Daucus carota) and Apple (Malus) Chips comprising the following steps: Prepare the ingredients namely carrots, apple, warm and cold water, cornstarch, salt, oil, and flavoring powder. Wash carrots and apple. Peel carrots. Cut carrots and apple into shapes. Blanch carrots in boiled water for 15-30 minutes. Dehydrate apple until dry. Drain carrots to eliminate excess water. Soak carrots into cold water 3-5 minutes. Pat carrots using paper towel until dry enough. Coat apple and carrots together with cornstarch seasoned with salt. Heat oil in a frying pan until hot. Fry apple and carrots in a frying pan until cooked. Set aside and let it cool. Add flavored powder and ready to serve.
