Abstract

The present utility model relates to a baby carrier, specifically a multifunctional baby carrier, comprising two detachable carrier members designed to provide flexibility and convenience. The first carrier member features a structured body with adjustable shoulder straps and a bottom sleeve for modifying seat length, integrated with an expandable pouch that can be enclosed using a zipper. The  second carrier member is a lightweight, thin cloth body with a neck strap, which is deployable from the bottom compartment of the expandable pouch. This multifunctional design allows for customized use and versatility, catering to different needs and preferences of caregivers.

It has been observed that breastfeeding comfort varies dependingon the position of the baby. Some infants feed more effectively in a cradleposition, while others exhibit a preference for being gently swayed duringfeeding. Moreover, having privacy while breastfeeding is a common concernamong mothers, particularly in public or semi-public settings. CLAIMS1.A baby carrier comprising:a. a first carrier member comprising a structured carrier body and a pairof shoulder straps,b. a strap extending through a sleeve located at a lower portion of thecarrier body configured to adjust the seat length of the structuredcarrier body,c. an expandable pouch having an interior back portion, whereinopposite ends of the strap are fixed to said interior back portion,d. said pouch having a flap configured to close via a zipper,e. a second carrier member comprising a thin fabric body with a neckstrap, wherein a bottom lining of the thin fabric is sewn to an interiorfront lining of a bottom compartment of the expandable pouch, saidbottom compartment being closable by a second zipper..
