System for fulfilling a physical cash-out transaction with a financial account

Abstract

In a system (100) for fulfilling a physical cash-out transaction with a financial account, a cash-out transaction request is received from a system user at a selfservice terminal (110). In response, the self-service terminal (110) issues a cashout processing request to a transaction platform (160), which then generates a scannable code for output by the self-service terminal (110). Cashing out from the financial account is initiated when the code is scanned by the system user through a smart device (190) that is running a financial institution application. In case of a successful transaction, either physical cash or a cash voucher is dispensed at the self-service terminal (110).
