Abstract

The present utility model discloses a portable kit in preparing crab DNA samples for PCR-based analysis of detecting crab pathogens. The kit consists of a solution and basic materials for DNA rapid extraction and mixtures for DNA sample preparation. This disclosure solves a technical problem on a lengthy, bulky, and expensive process of detecting crab pathogens by providing a portable kit that contains pre-measured solutions and mixtures that are ready-to-use or mix. This technology is ideal for monitoring purposes or small sampling specifically for student-related research wherein they do not have sufficient budget purchasing a whole bottle of reagents or only a small portion of reagents are needed.
