A mango picker

Abstract

The present utility model relates generally to devices for picking fruit, but more particularly, the present utility model relates to a mango picker. A mango picker comprising a pole having a grip disposed of in the lower end of the pole; a pivot assembly disposed at the upper end of the pole configured to turn to an angle for reach and maneuverability of the mango picker; a net to securely catch harvested mangos being attached to a frame, and wherein said frame being mounted to the pivot assembly; a blade assembly being mounted on the upper part of the frame, and wherein said blade assembly further comprises: a cover; a blade disposed under the cover; a guide configured to direct the mango stem toward the blade, and characterized of said blade assembly being integrated with a peduncle length limiter to ensure uniform cutting of mango stem to maintain quality and reduce damage.
