Leaf dryer

Abstract

The present utility model discloses a leaf dryer comprises a first furnace with a plurality of parallel pipes for heat transfer and a second furnace positioned below the first furnace, both enclosed within insulating clay brick walls. An exhaust assembly includes a first exhaust fan driven by an internal combustion engine (30) to draw heated air from the pipes and deliver it through a first duct into a drying chamber. The drying chamber includes a perforated flooring for uniform distribution of heated air to dry leaves placed therein. A return air assembly with a second exhaust fan and a second duct recirculates heated air from the upper portion of the chamber to improve efficiency.
