Abstract
The present utility model provides a process for producing an alkaline mineral composition for water treatment is disclosed. The process comprises providing sedimentary rocks selected from limestone or dolomite containing calcium, magnesium, potassium, and sodium; washing the rocks to remove surface impurities; drying the rocks at a temperature of 80 °C to 120 °C for 2 to 4 hours; crushing the dried rocks using a mechanical crusher to obtain particles; classifying the particles to a size ranging from 5 mm to 15 mm; and enclosing the particles in a permeable food-grade pouch comprising a mesh structure having a pore size of 0.5mmto 2.0mm, wherein the pouch includes a moisture- absorbing agent comprising silica gel disposed within an internal compartment thereof to prevent moisture accumulation; immersing the pouch in purified water or distilled water for 3 to 5 minutes and discarding the water soaking the pouch in 1 to 1.5 liters of purified or distilled water for 2 to 3 hours to obtain mineralized alkaline water. The resulting composition is capable of increasing water alkalinity and improving mineral content.
