An insertion and removal tool for bayonet neillconcelman (BNC) connector

Abstract

The present utility model relates to hand tools, and more particularly to a tool for inserting and removing BNC connectors. The tool comprises a handle, a sleeve connected to the handle, a head tip disposed at an end of the sleeve, and a U-joint disposed between the sleeve and the head tip. The U-joint permits angular positioning of the head tip relative to the sleeve, thereby allowing insertion and removal of BNC connectors in confined or obstructed DVR port arrangements. In preferred embodiments, the sleeve is telescopically extendable and the head tip is shaped to securely engage a standard BNC connector.
