Abstract
A device comprising pharmaceutical compositions for increasing bone mass in a human or other animal with high bone turnover which comprises: (a) from 7 to 180 loading doses for a bisphosphonate; and (b) a plurality of maintenance doses of a bisphosphonate wherein the loading dose is from about two to about twenty times greater than the maintenance dose.
