Abstract

The present invention provides a dye of the general formula (1) where D, R1 to R6 , X, m and n are each as defined as D is the residue of a diazo component; R 1 is hydrogen, (C1-C6)-alkyl, (C1-C4)-alkoxy, hydroxyl, halogen, -NHCHO, -NHCO(C1-C6)-alkyl or –NHSO2(C1-C6)-alkyl; R 2 is hydrogen, (C1-C6)-alkyl, (C1-C4)-alkoxy or halogen; R 3 is hydrogen, (C1-C6)-alkyl, substituted (C1-C6)-alkyl, (C3-C4)-alkenyl or substituted (C3-C4)-alkenyl or R2 and R3 combine to form the radical – C +H(CH3)CH2C(CH3)2-, where the carbon atom marked * is attached to the phenyl nucleus; R 4 is hydrogen or (C1-C6)-alkyl; R 5 is hydrogen or (C1-C6)-alkyl; R 6 is hydrogen or (C1-C6)-alkyl; X is phenyl, thiophenyl, sulfonylpheyl or phenoxy; n is 0, 1, or 2; and m is 0 or 1.
