A process for preparation of bio-pesticides using Xenorhabdus nematophila (strian HAM,-10) against Wax moth larvae and Vine mealy bug in Pakistan.

Abstract

This invention relates to a process for preparation of biopesticide, comprising steps of addition of 500ml culture of Xenorhabdus nematophila in broth and water at the ratio of 4x104 ,4x106 and 4x108 cells / ml, autoclaving at 1210 C and 15 psi (pounds / square inch) pressure for 15 min, also addition of 1-5ml Tween 80 as an emulsifier, placed in a shaking water bath at 80-100 rpm for 24 hour and spraying on to both wax moth larvae and vine mealy bug.
