Abstract

A pharmacal composition is disclosed, which comprises a pharmaceutically acceptable form ofa thiazolidinedione in the form of its maleate salt and a sub¬maximal amount of an insulin secretatogue, together with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The composition is for use in the treatment of diabetes mellitus or a condition associated with diabetes mellitus.
