Abstract

The preparation of antiperspirant lotion for arm pits comprises the reaction between Potassium aluminum sulphate (Alum.) and trihydric alcohol (Glycerol) and addition of food grade color and rose fragrance to complete the antiperspirant lotion. Process for the preparation of Antiperspirant for arm pits comprising state that 40gm of Alum [KA1 (SO4)2, 12H2O] with purity of 95% has been dissolved in 200m1 de-ionized water. In this aqueous solution of Potassium aluminum sulphate 200m1 of Glycerol (purity 85%) was added with constant. stirring, after that add l .5m1 rose fragrance and I ml green food color. After mixing well make up to the lotion up to liter.
