Abstract
A radio transmission system has an ad hoc network (31), via which data packets are transmitted with a prescribed waveform, an evaluation mechanism (35) for each node (30) which evaluates the quality of the transmission of the data packets via the ad-hoc network (31) and an orientation channel (32). The data packets are transmitted via the orientation channel (32) when the evaluation mechanism (35) has evaluated the quality of the transmission of the data packets via the ad-hoc network (31) as unsatisfactory.
