A fusion polypeptide comprising a klotho-fgf fusion protein

Abstract

The present invention is directed to a fusion polypeptide comprising: (a) a polypeptide comprising at least one extracellular subdomain of a Klotho protein; and (b) a polypeptide comprising a fibroblast growth factor. The Klotho fusion .polypeptide of the invention include at least a Klotho protein or an active fragment thereof. The Klotho fusion proteins are useful in the treatment and prevention of a variety of age-related conditions and metabolic disorders.
