Abstract

The invention relates to a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of substituted N-(1-(thiazol-2-Yl)piperidin-4-y1)-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxamide compound useful for the treatment of bacterial infections in warm-blooded animals, such as humans. The international microbiological community continues to express serious concern that the evolution of antibiotic resistance could result in strains against which currently available antibacterial agents will be ineffective. Therefore, novel antibacterial compounds suitable for pharmaceutical administration are necessary. Accordingly, compounds of formula (I) useful in the treatment of bacterial infections are described.
