Abstract
A method and a device for drawing off a clothing strip (6) from a card-flat bar (1) are presented. A clothing strip (6) held on the card-flat bar (1) by fastening means (7) in the form of clips or clamps is released from the card-flat bar with the aid of a device as a result of an at least partial opening of a clip (7). The device has a bearing face (19) and a retainer (14) for bearing on the card-flat bar (1) or on the clip (7) and has a spike (10) for the at least partial opening of a clip (7).
