Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a microorganism of the genus Escherichia, wherein an exogenous soluble pyridine nucleotide transhydrogenase protein is introduced, wherein the protein comprises an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 or 3, or an amino acid sequence having 90% or more identity thereto. The invention further relates to a method and a composition for producing L-tryptophan by culturing the microorganism of the genus Escherichia wherein an exogenous udhA protein or a polynucleotide encoding the protein is introduced.
