Dioxa-bicyclo[3,2,1]octane-2,3,4 triol derivatives

Abstract

The present invention provides a compound o f Formula (A) or Formula (B); tetrahydrofuranyloxy, Cl, F, cyano, fluorosubstituted (Ci-C2 )alkyl, Ci -C^alkyl-SCV , (C3 -C6 )cycloalkyl, or a (C5Ce)heterocycle having 1 or 2 heteroatoms each independently selected from N, 0 , or S. The present invention further provides a pharmaceutical composition o f above said compound and pharmaceutical acceptable carrier which is useful for the treatment o f diseases, conditions and / or disorders mediated by sodium-glucose transporter inhibitors (in particular, SGLT2 inhibitors). The compound o f present invention is also useful for the prevention and treatment o f obesity and its associated co-morbidities, in particular type II (type 2) diabetes.
