Abstract

The present invention relates to a top roller carrying and weighting arm for a drafting unit of a spinning machine, comprising a U-shaped carrier (1) which is open at the bottom, in which at least one slide (2) is arranged, which comprises a weighting element (10) and a holder (3) for receiving a top roller and an adjusting device (4) by means of which the slide (2) can be displaced relative to the carrier (1) in the longitudinal direction and can be fixed on the upper side (9) of the carrier (1), wherein for non-rotatable fixing of the slide (2) with respect to its vertical axis within the U-shaped carrier (1), a contact face (8) of the slide (2) has a surface structuring (6), which is in engagement with a corresponding surface structuring (5) of the inner face of the upper side (9) of the carrier (1) to achieve a positive locking.
