The present invention relates to a compound of formula I wherein: R1 is hydrogen, hydroxyl,. halo, cyano, C^ alkyl, C^ haloalkyl, C^ alkoxy, C^g haloalkoxy, C^ alkylthio or C3.10 cycloalkyl; R2 is hydrogen, hydroxyl, halo, C^ alkyl, C^ alkoxy, C^ alkenyloxy or C^ alkynyloxy, Cs.10 cycloalkyl; R3, R4, R5 and R6 are, independently, hydrogen, hydroxyl, halo, cyano, nitro, amino, monoand bis-C^ alkyl amino, C^ alkyl, C2^ alkenyl, C2_g alkynyl, CM haloalkyl, C^ alkoxy, C^ haloalkoxy, C^ alkylthio or C3.W cycloalkyl; A is halo, CV1O alkyl, C2.10 alkenyl, C2.10 alkynyl, C^ haloalkyl, C^ alkoxy, C^q cycloalkyl, C^o cycloalkyloxy, aryl, arylalkyl, aryloxy, arylalkyloxy or arylthio; provided that ifA is methyl and each R1, R3, R4, R5 and R6 is hydrogen R2 is not chlorine, their use and method for the control and / or prevention of microbial infection, particularly fungal infection, in plants and to processes for the preparation of these compounds.
