The present invention is directed to an exogenous pulmonary surfactant in combination with CuZn superoxide dismutase at a unit dose from 2000 to 10000 U / kg and catalase at a unit dose from 2000 to 4000 U / kg for the prevention of bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD).
