Abstract

This invention relates to a process of preparation of a bio-pesticide for honey and stored grain pests from Oscheius niazi. This process comprising steps of dissolving 300-500 nematodes / ml of a new entomopathogenic nematode species Oscheius niazii / ml suspension in 1 ml water by pouring directly to the Galleria mellonella larvae (pest of honey) and Tribolium castaneum (larvae and adult) (pest of stored grain) on Petridish assay. Nematodes were able to reproduce on G. mellonella larvae and T. castaneum (larvae and adult) at 25 ±2 °C after 24-32h. The effect of Oscheius niazii in controlling G. mellonella larvae and T. castaneum (larvae and adult) can reach over 88,90 and 77.6%,respectively.
