A process for the development of non toxic phyto based termiticide for wooden objects

Abstract

This invention relates to a process for the production of termiticide.The formulation of the product contain maximum allowable concentration of Olea ferruginea (active ingrediend for termite mortality) taken in 30% with 30% varnish for polishing and shining, 1%formalin as preservative and 39% hydrocarbon oil for dilution.This product is non toxic ,environomental friendly,easy to use effective by fumigation, spray and penetrating or injecting, useful l in polishing of furniture and prevention for deodar wooden objects to durability and infestation. Although this product is primarly usefull for larval mortality(wood inhabiting), it can advantageously be used for dry wood termite(post powder),It is fairly effective, not only in preventive attack but killing insects already in the timber and wood.The results of present invention provide evidence that product is an effective for termite comparable with chemical pesticide,However in view of its indigenous characterstics,better cost benefit ratio makes a better choice for wooden objects.Keeping this fact in view the present invention is carried out to save valuable foreign exchange of our country,with the objective to broad spectrum of termiticide so that it could be more attractive to commercialization in market,private entrepreneurs and the end user.
