A Retractable Thorny Self-Defense Stick

Abstract

A metallic stick, consisting of a part with retractable studs and a retractable holding part, especially suited for carrying during evening or morning walk, has been described in this invention. The device is designed in the form of two connected components. The front part consists of eight rows, while each row contains four or five retractable steel studs, controlled by a single push button. The back part consists of two cylinders - one moveable inside the other, to increase the length of the stick on demand, controlled through another push button. The device, which weighs about one kilogram, looks like an ordinary small stick. It does not require any external power source and becomes ready for use, extending in length from two and a half feet to over four feet, within two seconds.
