Abstract
The subject of the application is a lock that locks the folding mechanism of a stroller frame, dividing the frame into three parts, preferably of equal lengths, i.e. a guide frame (A) — the part of the frame in the upper part of which the stroller handle is located, a front suspension frame (B) — the lower part of which the front wheels are mounted, and a rear suspension frame — the lower part of which the rear wheels are mounted, connecting the aforementioned frames by an articulated connection with a common axis of rotation around which mutual folding and unfolding of each part of the frame takes place in accordance with the kinematics of the frame. The vertical housing (1) of the mechanism is connected at the bottom to the rear suspension frame, and at the top on both sides to the guide frame (A) and the front suspension frame (B).The connection to the guide frame (A) is made via a joint with a rotation axis (2) located at the rear of the housing (1) on the rear wall. This is a through-hole bolt hole common to the joint and the upper part of the housing (1), defining a common rotation axis (2) of the guide frame (A) and the rear suspension frame. On the side opposite the guide frame (A), the housing (1) has a triangular plane (3) resembling a fin, at the end of which there are articulated connections with the front suspension frame (B), distancing the rotation axis (4) of the front suspension frame (B) from the rotation axis (2) of the guide frame (A) and the rear suspension frame. Inside the housing (1), halfway up, there is an axle (5), on which a flat bar (6) is pivotally mounted, terminated at the top with two arms (61 and 62). The arm (61) mounted closer to the edge of the housing (1) has a concavely profiled rear wall in such a way that in the locking position the rear wall of the arm (61) rests on the axle (2).The arm (62) located below the axis (2) is curved towards the rear wall of the housing (1) and is passed through a through hole (10) in the rear wall of the housing (1) defining the range of movement of the flat bar (6). Behind the rear wall of the housing (1), the arm (62) is additionally bent in the direction opposite to the position of the guide frame (A) and provides support for the cable (13) moving along the guide frame (A). Tension in the cable (13) causes the flat bar (6) to move around the axis (5), while in its lower part, the flat bar (6) has a concave notch directed opposite to the concave notch in the rear wall of the arm (61), intended to accommodate the roller (9) in the locking position. Tension in the cable (13) causes the flat bar (6) to move around the axis (5), deflects the concave notch in the lower part of the flat bar (6) and releases the roller (9).The bottom part of the housing (1) has a U-shaped notch (7) and from the bottom, on both edges of the housing (1), there are two vertical guide rails (8) for the roller (9), the size of which is adapted to the width of the U-shaped notch (7) and moves slidably along the rails, wherein the flat bar (6) in the locked position rests on the axis (2) of rotation of the frames from above and on the roller (9) located inside the U-shaped notch (7) from below, preventing it from being pulled out of the notch (7).
