Abstract

An egg packaging for display and distribution, with a closing and locking system for its lid, is characterized in that its closing and locking system for the lid consists of two identical downwardly concave arc-shaped profiled slots made on the outer front face of the front part of the frame-like upper rectangular offset of the container and located between both of its outer ellipsoidal sockets (11), the central parts of which have outer convex-arc-shaped locking offsets with a width bent down at an acute angle α, and two identical vertically positioned trapezoidal through holes (36) made in the lower part of the front side wall (30) of the lid, opposite the locking offsets, the lower sides of which with a width together with the lower parts of this front side wall (30) have inwardly bent arc-shaped catch embossments (39) with a semi-oval profile with a flat upper face (40), wherein the locking offsets are mounted in the through holes (36) covers.
