Rope anchor

Abstract

The subject of the application is a rope anchor which comprises a smooth multi-strand steel rope (1) and a resistance element in the form of a two-stage roller (2). The thicker part thereof constitutes a mounting sleeve (3), while the thinner part constitutes a threaded shaft (4). The mounting sleeve (3) is clamped at the end of the multi-strand steel rope (1) in four areas (5.1 to 5.4), which are separated from each other by transverse notches (8.1 to 8.4), wherein in areas (5.1 to 5.4) eight longitudinal recesses (6) are formed radially into the side wall — situated parallel to the longitudinal axis of the mounting sleeve (3) — separated from each other by ridges (7). The lower part of each recess (6) is pressed against the surface of the rope (1).The outer diameter of the mounting sleeve (3) between the opposite lower surfaces of the recesses (6) is from 0.88 to 0.86 of its initial outer diameter, and the width of the first region is approximately 0.9 to 0.12 of the depth of the mounting sleeve (3) seat, and the widths of the second, third and fourth regions are from 0.20 to 0.23 of the depth of the mounting sleeve (3) seat.
