Abstract

The subject of the application is a labyrinth seal for a conveyor belt idler with a smooth surface and cylindrical shape both on the outer circumference and on the inner circumference, consisting of a labyrinth seal base (1) made of plastic, on which a steel cover made of sheet metal (2) is mounted and a flinger (3) placed in the base, characterized in that the seal base (1) with an outer diameter of ø110.5 mm and an inner diameter of ø49.8 mm has a total height together with the flinger (3) of 21.4 mm, while the flinger (3) with an outer diameter of ø75 mm and an inner diameter of ø49.8 mm has a height of 10 mm, enabling the sealing of a rolling bearing of size ø110x50 mm in order to prevent dust from entering the rolling bearing, which prevents its seizure.
