Middle clamp assembly for mounting of photovoltaic panels

Abstract

A center clamp assembly (1) for mounting photovoltaic panels is disclosed, suitable for mounting to the top of a support profile of a photovoltaic installation. The center clamp assembly (1) comprises a center clamp (2) provided with a clamp channel (21) and two side arms (22), wherein a mounting screw (3) with a square head (31) is mounted in the clamp channel (21). In a position mounted above the top surface of the support profile in a photovoltaic installation, the center clamp assembly (1) is provided with a helical spring (4) in which the mounting screw (3) and the adapter (5) are guided. In a position below the top surface of the support profile, the center clamp assembly (1) has a first lower washer (6) and a second lower washer (7), wherein the outer diameter of the first lower washer (6) is greater than the outer diameter of the second lower washer (7). Below the second lower washer (7), the mounting screw (3) is secured with a nut (8).
