Cover for a standard waste container in a residential waste enclosure

Abstract

The subject of the application is an overlay for a standard container in a local garbage can, which is constructed of a frame (1) with a lid (2) over at least one typical garbage container (3). The frame (1) of the overlay consists of four legs (4) connected at their upper ends by three horizontal, longitudinal connectors (5a) at the rear and on both sides, and by three similar horizontal, longitudinal connectors (5b) located above ground level. The lid (2) of the overlay is mounted to the upper rear connector (5a) in a hinged manner and has the shape of a gable frame with sloping surfaces directed forward and backward, placed on a rectangular horizontal frame (7), and consists of three connected frames (7), two frames (7) with sloping surfaces directed forward and backward, the third frame (7) constituting their horizontal base. On the front wall of the cover (2) there is an upward-hinged flap (8) of the bag insertion chamber equipped with an actuator (9).A light curtain (10) is located around the opening closed by the flap (8) of the bag insertion chute. The front part of the frame (7) of the cover (2) is provided with a first electromagnetic armature (11), the position of which corresponds to the lower edge of the flap (8) of the bag insertion chute, and under the lower surface of the frame (7) of the cover (2) in one rear corner, a cover (2) actuator (12) is mounted, and the other end of the cover (2) actuator (12) is mounted to the leg (4) of the frame (1). The front edge of the frame (7) of the cover (2) of the overlay is provided with a vertical frame (13) partially overlapping the open front wall of the frame (1) and, moreover, the upper side connector (5a) of the frame (1) is provided with a second electromagnetic armature, and the space of the cover (2) of the overlay is filled.
