Lead screw mechanism

Abstract

A lead screw mechanism comprising a lead screw (1) is characterized in that the lead screw (1) cooperates with a through hole in a self-aligning nut (2), wherein the self-aligning nut (2) is the element connecting the lead screw (1) to the device utilizing the lead screw mechanism. The lead screw (1) is connected at the bottom to a joint (3) connected to the worm gear housing (5) via a worm wheel shaft (4) and a ball bearing (10) located in the bearing housing (11). Furthermore, a worm wheel (6) is mounted on the worm wheel shaft (4) and cooperates with a worm (7), mounted on the stepper motor shaft (9). The stepper motor (9) is bolted to the gear housing (5) via a bracket (8).
