Diverter for a mining scraper conveyor

Abstract

The subject of the application is a return device for a mining scraper conveyor for hauling ore, enabling easy and less expensive adjustment of the conveyor chain tension. The return device for a mining scraper conveyor comprises a box-shaped housing (1) and a sliding bridge (2) slidably mounted therein, with a rotary return element with an axis of rotation perpendicular to the direction of movement of the conveyor chains. The rotary return element comprises an axle integrated with the sliding bridge (2), which has independently rotatably mounted return rollers (6) at both ends. The device for tensioning the scraper conveyor chains comprises two tensioning screws (8, 8'), located longitudinally on both sides of the box-shaped housing (1) of the return device, which are connected at one end to the mounting lugs (9, 9') of the sliding bridge (2), and at the other end are connected to the mounting lugs (11, 11') of the box-shaped housing (1).
