Abstract

The subject of the application is an electric vacuum cleaner (1) which comprises a suction unit assembly and a cylindrical waste container assembly (2) tightly closed at the top with a cover (11), which assembly has an air inlet, a coaxial waste separator with a waste chamber and an air outlet which is tightly connected to the suction unit assembly, the air inlet with a tubular suction channel arranged in a horizontal direction towards the interior of the separator and one of the walls of which has an opening in which an adjustment element is tightly mounted and which is made of an elastically deformable material capable of deforming towards the interior of the suction channel under the influence of the negative pressure prevailing inside this channel.
