Transilluminator

Abstract

The transilluminator (1) comprises a base (2) and a light source positioned within the base (2). The transilluminator (1) further comprises a visible light-diffusing glass pane (3) located on top (2a) of the base (2) and sealed against the base (2); a column (5) protruding from the base (2) and connected at one end to the base (2); and a knob (9) for adjusting the intensity of the light source and positioned on the base (2). The light source is positioned in the base (2) beneath the visible light-diffusing glass pane (3) and is a source of visible light. The column (5) has, at its end opposite the end connected to the base (2), a shelf (6) positioned above the visible light-diffusing glass pane (3), the shelf (6) having a through hole (7) directed towards the light-diffusing glass pane (3).
