Distribution box

Abstract

The distribution box has four mounting modules (2) that are releasably attached to the body (1). The body (1) has the shape of an isosceles cross with a centrally located through-hole for the supply pipe. Inside, there is an empty space, and each arm (4) ends with an elliptical mounting hole (6) for mounting the mounting modules (2). Each arm (4), both on the top and bottom, has two latching elements (7), each of which is shaped similar to the letter E. The top and bottom surfaces of the body (1) have reinforcing ribs (9), the inside of the body (1) has internal ribs, and the circumference of the body (1) through-hole has radially shaped circumferential ribs (11). The mounting module (2), on the side of the body (1), has an elliptical cross-section. Its upper and lower surfaces each have two projections (12) of a substantially triangular shape, and the projection (12) has a C-shaped opening (14) for the latching element (7).The mounting module (2), on the side opposite the body (1), has two stubs (15) for attaching the cables. Between the body (1) and the mounting module (2), there is a seal (3), which is essentially elliptical in shape, with its inner circumference having a smooth surface, and its outer circumference having two symmetrical recesses of the same depth and width, the length of which is equal to the length of the outer circumference of the seal (3).
