Ventilation damper

Abstract

The damper connects the damping element to the regulating element (2) and the crossmember via a mounting pin (4) that passes through holes centrally located in the damping element, the regulating element (2), the crossmember, and the spacer washers (5). The damping element is a cylinder with twelve equal and evenly spaced first through holes running through its base. Viewed from the damping element cylinder base, the edges of the first through holes form a pattern of radially spaced isosceles triangles with rounded tops. The regulating element (2) is a circular plate with twelve equal and evenly spaced second through holes running through it. The edges of the long sides of the second through holes are the long sides of the spokes separating them. The mounting pin (4) terminates at its first end with a wing nut (6), and at its opposite end with a self-locking nut (7).A handle protrudes from the large surface of the regulating element (2).
