Forging separator

Abstract

A forging separator comprising a support structure (1) and slidably mounted arms (2). Each arm (2) has a flap (3) pivotally mounted on hinges (4). A linear distance exists between the flaps (3). The flaps (3) are opposite each other and located in one plane. Each flap (3) is connected to the arm (2) via an angular return spring. Between the arms (2), on the side of the support structure (1), is a deflection sensor (6) for each flap (3), mounted in a holder (7) connected to the arm (2) on which the flap (3) is mounted and functionally coupled to the control surface of the flap (3).
