Abstract

The subject of the application, shown in the drawing, is a fiber-optic control system for an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The utility model is a fiber-optic communication system and can be used with various types of UAVs (UAVs). The system includes a transmitting module and a receiving module mounted on the UAV, interconnected by a fiber-optic cable. The transmitting module includes a control panel connected to the fiber-optic transmitter via a first hardware RS485↔TTL interface converter, and video glasses connected directly to the fiber-optic transmitter. The receiving module includes a fiber-optic receiver and a fiber-optic cable reel.The fiber optic transmitter is connected to a fiber optic cable, the opposite end of which is connected to a fiber optic receiver. The first output of the receiver is connected to the UAV flight controller via a second hardware RS485↔TTL interface converter, and the second output is directly connected via the flight controller to the UAV video transmission node. The unidirectional SBUS communication protocol is used.
