Foldable packaging without adhesives

Abstract

The subject of the application is a package (4) comprising at least one rear flap (8) and at least one front flap (12) of the same thickness (S), which front flap (12) can be folded over the rear flap (8) so that in the folded configuration it overlaps the rear flap (8) on the side opposite the protected interior space bounded by the package (4). The rear flap (8) comprises at least one rear locking tab (56) partially cut out of the rear window (20), extending through the rear flap (8) itself and hinged relative to a rear hinge line (60). The front flap (12) comprises at least one front locking tab (24) partially cut out of the front window (28), extending through the front flap (12) itself and hinged relative to a front hinge line (32).The rear hinge line (60) and said front hinge line (32) in said folded configuration are opposed to each other such that a free end (56a) of said rear locking tab (56) substantially faces said front hinge line (32) and a free end (24a) of said front locking tab (24) substantially faces said rear hinge line (60). The front window (28) is at least partially aligned with the rear window (20) and overlaps therewith in the folded configuration, said rear window (20) having a quadrangular geometry. The front locking tab (24) and the rear window (20) are at least partially aligned, and the free end (24a) of said front locking tab (24) has a greater extent relative to the corresponding side of the rear window (20) towards which it faces in the folded configuration.
