Abstract

The subject of the application is an apparatus for isolating essential oils with a density greater than that of water, having a glass flask made of refractory laboratory glass, a distillation column with a condensation tube and a condenser jacket, characterized in that the distillation column (1) has, before the constriction node (2), a S-shaped connector (3) connected to the lower, wider part (4) of the condensation tube (5), and in the lower part it has a calibrated tank (6) narrowed slightly below to a diameter at least three times smaller and terminated with a discharge unit (7) which is a two-way knob, furthermore the distillation column (1) has in its upper part (8) a diameter of ½ the diameter of the lower part, and the narrowed part (8) of the distillation column (1) is bent in its upper part at an angle of more than 100° and then directed downwards as a condensation tube (4) surrounded by a condenser jacket (9).
