Vibration sensor

Abstract

A vibration sensor is disclosed for non-invasive mounting on the surface of a tested element (2). The vibration sensor comprises a piezoelectric sensor (1) permanently mounted on the surface of the tested element (2), which is separated from the surface of the tested element (2) by an adhesive layer (3). A steel rod (4) is embedded in the adhesive layer (3), which runs centrally along the contact plane of the piezoelectric sensor (1) with the surface of the tested element (2), its upper surface being in contact with the lower surface of the piezoelectric sensor (1) and its lower surface being in contact with the surface of the tested element (2).
