Abstract

The subject of the application is a method for producing viscoelastic polyurethane biofoam, in which a polyol component containing a mixture of polyols, a surfactant, a catalyst, a chain extender, and water is mixed with an isocyanate component, then poured into a mold and seasoned. The polyol component contains a mixture of polyols comprising 5% to 40% of an animal fat polyol, 0% to 37.5% by weight of a sorbitol-based polyether polyol, 20% to 50% by weight of a reactive, highly functional polyoxyalkylenol, 20% by weight of a polyether polyol, a glycerine-based block-statistic copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide. All components of the polyol component are mixed, then the isocyanate component is added to them, maintaining an isocyanate index of 0.45 to 0.65, the whole is mixed, poured into a mold and cured.
