Ductile grey cast iron with increased elongation

Abstract

The subject of the application is ductile grey cast iron with increased elongation value, used in the economic sectors related to the machine industry, sheet metal stamping, energy, railways, etc. Grey cast iron GJS-700-4 containing by weight: 0.30 ÷ 0.50% Mn, 0.03 ÷ 0.08% Mg, < 0.05% Cr, < 0.01% V, is characterized in that it additionally contains by weight: 3.10 ÷ 3.45% C, 2.35 ÷ 2.75% Si, < 1.10% Ni, < 0.50% Mo, 0.40 ÷ 0.70% Cu. Grey cast iron GJS-600-6 containing by weight: 0.30 ÷ 0.50% Mn, 0.03 ÷ 0.08% Mg, < 0.05% Cr, < 0.01% V, < 0.05% Ni, < 0.01% Mo, is characterized by the fact that it additionally contains by weight: 3.10 ÷ 3.45% C, 2.35 ÷ 2.75% Si, 0.40 ÷ 0.70% Cu.
